Faustina supports the Finance Director with the implementation of internal control systems and the day to day administration of the finance functions of Warc Freetown. She holds a Masters in Business Administration and a BTech in Accountancy, both from the University of Zimbabwe.
Fola supports the Finance Director and the wider team with finance-related activity. She has numerous years of private sector finance experience in Sierra Leone. In particular, she held various roles in the financial department of a mining operation in Sierra Leone for 7 years.
Brima is Warc’s Operations Manager since 2011. He is well experienced in the Sierra Leonean agricultural sector and is in charge of managing the logistics and operations of Warc. He leads the processing of duty free concessions, contracting logistic providers and local suppliers.
Arnaud is the Key Agronomist Expert on the EU BAFS program. Previously, he was Head of Projects at Welthungerhilfe for 12 years in Madagascar, coordinating rural development projects.
Xaver is a project manager for Warc’s consulting arm in Sierra Leone, currently overseeing the implementation of a city-wide data collection exercise for the local municipal government of Freetown. Xaver comes to Warc with 3 years of professional work experience leading data collection and research projects in Lisbon, Angola, and Guinea-Bissau. A Swiss and Dutch national, Xaver is fluent in 5 languages, and holds a Master in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.
Fernando completed his agronomist training at the University of Buenos Aires with graduate degrees specializing in Ecophysiology and extensive crop and production systems, and later taught there as a professor. His past work experience includes advising a company with over 400,000 Ha in crops and bovine cattle, as a Director of the National Agricultural Plan for the Environments. He also has experience farming intensive crops, setting up fish and chicken farms, and livestock farming in the northeast region of Argentina
