Cathrin Schriever

Partner, Managing Director Warc Consultants

Cathrin leads the execution of internal and external projects, including Warc’s programs for smallholder farmers. She is an experienced project manager and advisor in international development, in technology and digital initiatives and entrepreneurship. She previously advised the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) in Ghana and worked as a Google Marketing Specialist in Germany.  She holds a Msc in Marketing from the Alba Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

Farm Finance Officer

James is in charge of administration and finance at Akokoa in the Bono East region of Ghana. He reports directly to the Finance Manager in Accra. He had his BSc in Agribusiness Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University. He has his interests in International Trade and Export, and helping smallholder farmers get value for their efforts.

Christopher Wayland

Christopher Wayland

Program Manager

Christopher is a program manager for Warc’s service delivery unit in Sierra Leone. He oversees input and information dissemination to smallholder farmers and is responsible for tracking key metrics and supporting the expansion of the program. He has three years of professional experience as a management consultant and is a former Princeton in Africa Fellow in Malawi. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Williams College where he studied Political Science and Economics.

Christopher Zaw

Christopher is Warc’s CEO. He joined the company in 2017 and was responsible for establishing Warc’s operations in Ghana as Managing Director before taking over the CEO role in 2022. He is an energetic entrepreneur and business manager, passionate about creating opportunity. He holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney, is a Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship Alumnus, and former financial risk manager from a top-tier accounting and consulting firm.

Mireia Romañach

Program Manager

Mireia is an agricultural economist and project manager. She works on Warc’s agricultural consulting projects in Sierra Leone, as well as internal projects based in Warc’s farm in Tormabum. Previously she worked as a project and financial analyst both in the private and public sector in Argentina. She has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economy at the University of Buenos Aires.

Procurement and Logistics Manager

Estefania is in charge of the procurement and logistics operations of Warc, she has over 6 years of experience in international trade in the US, Colombia and Sierra leone, previously worked as a product manager in one of the top five largest freight forwarders in the world. She is in charge of both local and international purchases, RFQs, imports, inventory and other logistics involved in the companys operations.
