Follow our work:
In 2016, some children in the nearby village of Waah were playing with fire when it accidentally got out of hand and burned the entire village down. Everything was gone, including rice stores that were meant to last through the rainy season.
Warc Foundation stepped in and paid for new building materials, rebuilding Waah from the ground up to better than it was before. The new zinc roofs are a big improvement over the straw used before, and ensures that another incident like this doesn’t happen again.
Support our work
The Warc Foundation relies on donations to run its programmes. Our overhead costs are covered by the Warc Group, which also ensures that 100% of your contribution will go to our communities.
