Inventory Control Supervisor

thousands of smallholder farmers through our network of Trading Hubs. These locations are run by
women from the communities where they operate and allow farmers to buy inputs, receive training,
and sell their harvests directly within their own communities. Over the next decade, we aspire to

About the job

Great candidates want to make an impact, and they don’t shy away from challenges. As our Inventory
Control Supervisor you will ensure adherence to Warc procedures and financial controls for all our
inventory held in our warehouses and Trading Hubs in the Upper West Region and supervise on
developments and the implementation of enhanced controls over inventory. You will work within
the Finance team, but closely with our Trading Hub and Operations teams to ensure that everything
that goes in and out of our warehouses and Trading Hubs are meeting our procedures and controls,
and levels are as expected. You will be responsible for stock counting and internal auditing to ensure
compliance with financial controls.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Undertaking inventory counts in our warehouses and Trading Hubs
  • Identifying, investigating and reconciling the cycle count discrepancies
  • Undertaking an internal audit process on inventory flow, including paper and physical stock
    flows and seek for inconsistencies that affect the accuracy of inventory records
  • Maintaining the cycle count record for review by management and providing reports
    related to cycle count activity
  • Maintain records of receipts as well as issuance of items that flow in and out of Trading
    Hubs and warehouses
  • Ensure the correct and timely valuation of inventory
  • Work with the Finance team to enhance control procedures over inventory
  • Prepare reports on adjustments done to inventory that may be damaged, spoiled or lost
  • Regularly inspect Trading Hubs and warehouses are adhering to company procedures and
    policies

About you

of the technical skills, but it is very important that you have some experience with financial controls
around inventory and stock counts. You need to have a keen eye for detail, a critical mind, and the
utmost level of integrity. You should also have the mindset to respect procedures and strive for
continuous improvement, seeing errors and gaps as an opportunity to grow and enhance Warc, the
team and yourself.

  • Required Skills:
    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Inventory Management, Logistics, or any other related field
    • 3+ years of experience in a related field
    • Excellent attention to detail and a critical mind

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and use of digital management tools

Hub Quality Assurance

mechanized services, and markets. Using these tools, farmers can grow their incomes exponentially,
improving their quality of life and developing a stronger connection with their land. This season,
we’ve worked with over eight thousand farmers to generate a solid proof of concept. Now, we aim
high; we want to serve one million farmers as they adopt regenerative agricultural practices and
access cutting-edge technologies within the next decade.

Warc has humble beginnings. We did not learn how to run a business from a book; we have real,
tangible experience. Warc’s revenue has grown 50x over the last 4 years, and our goal is to triple it
within the next 12 months. We began with a $30,000 investment from our founders and rapidly
scaled up from there, raising over $8,000,000 in equity, debt and grants from angel, government and
institutional investors.

About the job

Great candidates want to make an impact, and they don’t shy away from challenges! As our Hub
Quality Assurance, you will ensure adherence to Warc procedures and quality standards for our
Trading Hub operations in the Upper West Region. By developing and executing quality assurance
checks, you will support the scalability of Warc’s Hub operations as we move into new districts and
regions. You’ll get to monitor the activities and procedures of Trading Hub representatives and
conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

This role is specifically for a Hub Quality Assurance to be based in Ghana. Our project location is in
Tumu, Upper West Region. However, the team member can also expect to travel to other project areas
in the Upper West Region and beyond to monitor new Warc operations and ensure compliance with
company procedures and quality standards. You will work directly with our Hub Manager, Network
Coordinator, and Hub People Development and Analytics Lead to develop, implement, and maintain
a system of quality and reliability.

The main responsibilities of the Hub Quality Assurance include:

  • Ensure that Warc’s Hub processes meet a high level of quality across all Hub locations while
    also providing location-specific guidance.
  • Work with the Hub People Development and Analytics Lead to conduct and analyze a TNA
    (Training Needs Analysis) for staff of the hub (including Women of Warc (WoW), loading
    staff, etc.) and inform the development of a quarterly/annual training plan.
  • To identify areas of development and under performance within the Hub teams and suggest
    corrective actions.
  • Ensure that Hub staff (WoW, clerks, loading staff, etc.) know and adhere to the Warc
    procedures and standards outlined in the training curriculum and Hub Operations Manual.
  • Provide feedback to the Hub Manager and People Development and Analytics Lead on effect
    of training on staff at Trading Hubs (Wow’s, Clerk, loading staff).
  • Coordinate with the team to monitor progress on KPIs related to Hub activities.
  • Regularly inspect Hubs and complete checklists to ensure that they are adhering to Warc
    standards. This includes checking the quality of the products bought and sold through Hub
    locations.
  • Review and report the principle causes of quality loss and non-conformance within Hubs.
  • Design procedures to check product quality and work together with the operations team,
    Network Coordinator, and Hub Manager to execute these procedures.

About you

About the job

delivers services to smallholder farmers but we also deliver services to donors, international NGOs
and other private sector firms and SMEs. The role will involve a spectrum of activities from
supporting further business development, analyzing new opportunities, proposal and project report
writing, donor-relations and stakeholder management, and also undertaking various project work
either as a key consultant or in a project management capacity.
You will work with Warc’s CEO and Head of Projects, and lead both full-time internal team members
and part-time external consultants on delivering projects to a high-quality and to schedule. The role
is based in Accra, but you can expect to travel to our key operating location in the Upper West of
Ghana, and to other locations as necessary.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Reviewing and maintaining new business opportunities relating to consultancy assignments
    and related program growth
  • Preparing responses to Expressions of Interest, Request/Calls for Proposals/Terms of
    Reference papers
  • Supporting our Head of Projects and CEO in relationship building with potential partners
  • Project Management on consultancy assignments, such as developing workplans, managing
    field staff/enumerators, providing progress reports, research, project updates and
    developing final project projects
  • Managing Warc’s internal project management task board
  • Working with Warc’s management in Ghana to support internal development projects

About you

The ideal candidate for the Project Manager & Agricultural Development Consultant role will have
experience in similar positions leading, managing and delivering projects on behalf of donors,
international NGOs and businesses in sub-Saharan Africa. You need to have strong relationship skills,
business acumen and proven ability to seek, write and execute on new business opportunities –
including delivering on the project itself. Above all, you should have a passion for creating impact,
rural development, entrepreneurship and being part of a growing organization. Required skills and
qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, International Business, International Development or
    similar field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years’ experience in project management, international development, consultancy,
    business/startups

About the job

In your role as Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s
overall business operations strategy, taking us to a new scale of activity and success. You’ll be taking
the lead in terms of the Warc’s procurement, supply chain, logistics, distribution and warehousing
functions, along with ensuring key business processes, plans and procedures are developed and
upheld to ensure quality and efficiency in our operations. You will lead a team of young operations,
procurement, warehousing and field staff, while working together with Warc’s CEO, Founders and
other senior management to develop and lead the company’s day-to-day and strategy operations.

  • Lead the business operations strategy in-line with overall business strategy, translating it
    into actionable steps for growth

About the Job

In your role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for leading Warc’s cashflow
management, financial planning, risk management and finance and treasury function as we scale up
across the country and beyond borders. You will lead a team of young qualified accountants and
finance officers, while working together with Warc’s CEO and other senior management to develop
and lead the company’s financial strategy that will enable rapid growth.

  • Lead the company’s cash management, investments, budgeting and financial planning and
    its reporting
  • Lead the preparation of all financial statements and related reporting requirements
  • Together with Warc’s CEO, develop the company’s financial and fundraising strategy
  • Direct the company’s finance, accounting and treasury functions and its personnel

About you
